Genting Hong Kong (GHK) has stated that its joint ventured enterprise, Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) is about to launch a dedicated contact center in Manila, thus leveraging on its sister entity, Star Cruises’ substantial Asian network. NCL has doubled its annual Asia Pacific sales in 2010. Therefore, anticipating a considerable growth in bookings in 2011, the NCL contact center advent is to support the rapidly expanding Asia Pacific markets and to deliver assistance to travel partners within the region in real-time.
"This is just another step in building our Asia Pacific business. Operational support at a local level is an important area we identified from the feedback we received from trade partners during 2010," said Francis Riley, NCL director of sales for the Asia Pacific market. "It’s important that as we continue to develop and grow these core markets that we are able to provide a quick and efficient process for agents to deal with us locally."
